‘Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Puts Late Son’s Home On Market
Sister Wives star Janelle Brown has just put her late son, Garrison Brown’s home on the market. He passed away in March 2024 from suicide and the family is still processing the grief. Now, Janelle, who was a licensed real estate agent when they lived in Las Vegas, has listed Garrison’s home. So, how much is it up for and what are the details? Keep reading for more information.
Janelle Brown Puts Late Son’s Home On Market
It was a big deal when Garrison Brown purchased his own home. He was saving up for a down payment and was very close to his goal hence why he moved in with his mother, Janelle Brown. This caused big issues between his father, Kody Brown, and Janelle as he felt his sons were being reckless. Both Garrison and Gabriel Brown lived with Janelle, for different reasons. Gabriel was in college where Garrison was an essential worker and saving up for his home.
He was thrilled when that dream came true and two of his siblings were to be his roommates. Garrison ended up finding friends to live with him, became a cat dad, and his life was beginning. Sadly, he was fighting inner demons that took over and he lost his life in March 2024. His family was devastated and some of his siblings got honorary tattoos to mark Garrison’s legacy. An animal shelter named a room after him for all he did in the rescue community. Now, there’s one last matter to be handled.
According to In Touch Weekly, Janelle Brown listed the Flagstaff, Arizona home for $425K. Garrison bought it in 2021 for $329K and is 1400 square feet. It has four bedrooms as well as two bathrooms. There is both a fenced-in backyard and a courtyard with a lower level boasting a plethora of amenities. These include a gas fireplace, kitchen, pantry, and laundry as well as a den which can double as an office. It also appears to have been somewhat freshened up prior to the listing with fresh paint, vinyl floors, and AC.
Starting The Season With Garrison
Mykelti Brown Padron, Garrison Brown’s sister, expressed how she had no idea that his death would be included in Season 19 of Sister Wives. The season is so far behind that it did not make sense to have it be a part of what was going on. Since Garrison will likely be shown throughout the season and at events, the new season opened up with this:
“This season of Sister Wives began filming in late 2022. On March 5, 2024, Kody [Brown] and Janelle’s son Garrison passed away. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.”
Recently, Janelle honored her son at the six-month mark of his passing:
“You come up in my photo memories almost every day. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like you’re gone. And then I remember I won’t be getting a call or text from you and it all comes rushing back. I know you fought hard but in the end you just couldn’t stay. I love you so much and will see you again when my journey is done.”
Some fans struggled to watch the first episode after seeing the message about Garrison. Some friends did not want the season to be aired after he died. Yet, it will be and now, the Browns must honor him by living every day to the fullest.
